About State of Franklin
State of Franklin is an Alternative Rock band that was founded by:
- Christopher Rodriguez (bass/vocals)
- Michael Rodriguez (drums)
- William Demers (lead guitar)
- Jackson Dupery (rhythm guitar)
The band formed in Ogdensburg, New York in 2022, before breaking up in 2023 and regrouping under the current name.

The Name's Meaning
The name State of Franklin has two special meanings:
- The historical lost state of Franklin
- Franklin Street - where Christopher and Michael grew up and had their rehearsals
Band History
Our story began in 2022 when four friends from Ogdensburg decided to start making music together. After some lineup changes and a brief hiatus, we reformed as State of Franklin - stronger than ever!
We play a mix of alternative music with influences from 90s grunge/metal and 60s, 70s, and 80s hard rock.
